Don’t Forfeit Your Fitness

It’s been pretty miserable out lately – cold rainy days are good for taking naps and curling up on the couch but not so good for getting to the gym.

A number of my clients have started bailing on me. I can understand – people are busy with school and work and the shorter days make it tough to motivate yourself. But just because you’re starting to pile on the winter layers doesn’t mean you can let yourself pack on the winter weight.

It’s easy to train when the sun’s out and the weather’s nice and you’ve got a swimsuit to fit into. But it’s even more important to focus on staying fit now that fall’s in full swing. First, you shouldn’t let all your hard work from the past few months go to waste – if you keep training hard through the fall and winter, it’ll be a lot easier to get back into that swimsuit next year. Second, the H1N1 is going around. Being fit will help keep your immune system strong.

So stay strong and keep training hard!
